Dr. Jason Flaskey is a native of Brookings, South Dakota. After graduating from Brookings High School, he attended South Dakota State University where he graduated with highest honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition. He then went on to complete his doctoral studies at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian of his class with the degree Doctor of Chiropractic. After extensive academic and clinical training, he began practicing in Brookings with Hungerford Chiropractic and Physical Therapy in August of 2008. On April 5th, 2010, Dr. Flaskey began a new chapter in his career with the opening of his own practice located in Brookings.
During his clinical training and over the past several years of practice, Dr. Flaskey has had the opportunity to treat patients that range in age from 2 minutes old (Wyatt broke the record) to 96 years. He has been successful in treating many disorders including: headaches, chronic neck and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, middle ear infections, plantar fasciitis, dizziness and TMJ disorders, to name only a few.
Dr. Flaskey has completed post-doctoral study in Acupuncture, and he takes a keen interest in treating workers who suffer from ergonomically or postural-induced neck, back and limb pain as well as repetitive-stress injuries. He is also certified to perform DOT physicals as well as drug and alcohol testing.
He is looking forward to continuing to deliver excellent chiropractic care to the hard-working people of the Brookings area. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Flaskey enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel, daughter Ava, sons Jaxon and Wyatt, as well as his dog Caesar. When he is not spending time with his family Dr. Flaskey enjoys boating, fishing and hunting.
Dr. Addison Freybler is from Onalaska, Wisconsin and joined Flaskey Chiropractic & Acupuncture in May of 2024. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Dr. Freybler earned his undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in Spanish. During his time at UW-Platteville, he played Division 3 soccer and achieved fluency in Spanish while studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October of 2023.
Following graduation, Dr. Freybler began practicing in Sioux Falls, where he received advanced training in Applied Kinesiology. This specialized technique enables him to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including sinus infections, food intolerances, nutritional deficiencies, and vertigo, among others. Dr. Freybler is committed to providing individualized care to help patients achieve optimal health and well-being.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Freybler enjoys spending quality time with his wife, MaKenna, and their beloved animals. In his free time, he also enjoys reading, playing chess, hunting, and weight training. Dr. Freybler’s diverse interests and experiences contribute to his patient-focused approach and dedication to holistic health care.
